If you take a look back at my two decades of making music you quickly identify a recurring theme among many of my original compositions: Space... The Final Frontier... These are the voyages... oh sorry, I digress.

You will find either snippets of my favourite science fiction TV shows, movies and video games or just plain astronaut - mission control dialogue scattered across both hard hitting techno/trance bangers and chilled out ambient mood pieces in equal measure.

It is amazing to think that the Apollo 11 mission took place half a century ago and that on this very day back in 1969 Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin successfully stepped on the Moon, thus far Mankind's biggest conquest in space exploration history.

"Space 1969" is a two disc compilation of space themed tracks I made along my path in Shiryu Music and is my homage to all the pioneers out there working every day to solve all the challenges that need tackling to take Humanity beyond our beautiful home planet.
