Surprise! Well OK, not really, when you pull this stunt for the 9th year on the row, you were probably already expecting me to release a new album on my birthday. The world however has become a rather strange place during the past year, the people "in charge" are remaking the same mistakes history taught us better not to repeat, the people are being all being conned by rather amoral thugs taking advantage of fear and ignorance. How I wish I could just not be intelligent enough to see this happen, sometimes even to people who are close to me. I used that frustration to vent into this album, "Society of None" a rather noisy release where I went back and dug around my old sound pool collections and added bits and pieces from several sources, seeking balance between melodies, percussion and voice samples. Today Is my XXth birthday (I stopped counting many years ago) so I am now off to enjoy life and try to dream up my next album but hopefully you're the ones enjoying a gift from me. Play it loud and just enjoy life, turn off your TV, stop buying newspapers and be excellent to one another.
