Looks like the tradition that began all the way back in 2008 still stands: A new original LP release on my birthday! That's right, today I turn 30 something, I stopped counting after 33 ("XXXIII" is a most excellent album in case you missed it, go grab it). The past year as not been stellar on many levels and like all my original albums, "Man Machine Interface" tells a story, It tells my recent story and as such it turned out to be an aggressive, high bpm tracks ending up in a cover of Tomaso Albinoni "Adagio". I am also quite sure I lost my mind somewhere around track 4 "Jesus on E" and the follow up track "Technoshit" is dedicated to the oh so many dull faces I witness daily, slaves to their so called smart devices, in the constant quest to be distracted It was yet again not an easy album to produce (seems things are becoming harder to pull off with my old age) but I am really pleased with how it turned out. None of that matters of course, because you, the one listening will be the true judge. I hope you share and enjoy yet another pebble in the ever increasing pond that is Shiryu Music's insane release catalog. Surely one day it will all end, but that day has not yet come. See you next time!
